At Valewood Primary School, we live by our motto: VPS...'Valuing Personal Strengths.'

We believe that every child has the right to the highest quality of education and pastoral support possible. 

Everyone in our school community is committed to ensuring our Valewood Values are exemplified, each day, whether we are teaching and learning in the classroom or beyond. 

Our mission and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning and enable us all to create a safe space and an environment which help prepare our children for life in modern Britain and beyond. 

We want to nurture kind, thoughtful, well-informed, innovative and compassionate leaders for the future, whilst ensuring all children have the opportunity to excel in all the varied areas of our exciting and vibrant curriculum. Our hope is that this will lead the children to further study and practice, where their passions and talents lie, and to help secure them a happy, healthy and successful life ahead. 

Our VPS Team members demonstrate their love for the school community by investing quality time, energy and dedicated hard work to maximising everyone's potential. Our staff, at all levels, work hard to support one another, not just the children and their families. It is this commitment which I believe sets us apart and makes our school such a happy and safe place to work...and such a wonderful place for your children to grow up in and thrive.
